Tim Chung L.Ac. is a board certified acupuncturist licensed in New York and California .  He is also a certified Detoxification Specialist by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).

 

Tim came to practice Chinese medicine after observing the dire need for holistic and affordable medical treatment both at home and abroad.  He is passionate about helping people heal and live healthier lifestyles through Chinese medicine and nutritional education.  

 

Tim was awarded his Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica , and has trained extensively in both China and Thailand under several masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  

 

Outside of his general practice, Tim also applies his training in Chinese medicine to support humanitarian projects both domestically and around the world.  Tim has performed acupuncture for makeshift medical clinics in rural Central America, and was a volunteer at Los Angeles clinics affiliated with his undergraduate alma mater, UCLA.

 

A traveling enthusiast, you might run into Tim and his wife Flerida backpacking through the Himalayas or on a snorkeling expedition in Southeast Asia .
